We assist companies who are looking to sell their business by using the following process.

Free valuation:

We first prepare a valuation of your business (we do this by signing an nda, then analyzing your business, the financials and what range we could expect it to sell for in a current market). We discuss what buyers are looking for—and how their business matches up.

Marketing your business:

1) Reach: To find prospective buyers, we reach out confidentially to prospective buyers that are either a) in our database or b) strategically match up well with your business and could be a prospect.
*we would avoid any business that you did not want me to reach out to.
**If you have had detailed discussions with a specific business, we would establish a mutually agreeable reduced commission rate if they were to be the ultimate purchaser.  Just the knowledge that you have hired a media broker will help force any potential buyer higher in price as they know they won’t be the only buying prospect.

2) We prepare a CIM/Offering Memorandum that is an extensive summary for a buyer to review once they have signed an NDA.

3) For buyers who have reviewed the CIM, we then assist in the time consuming process of due diligence so that they can have all their questions answered.

In a summary, we develop and contact prospects, and then do much of the due diligence work that is very time consuming.  From initial contact, through due diligence and ultimately even negotiation, and closing—we do the work so that your time can be focused on running your business.
